So orange! I don't believe we would see any city here in the US will have that many roof tiles, some in Florida and few in Santa Barbara under the early Spanish influence I think. Housings are all asphalt shingles with boring colors.
In Japan you'll see dark/black roof tiles shaped differently from Spanish roof tile. It's kind of sad, for me at least, that we have reached a more "international style" of architecture with modern building design, a highrise curtainwall building could well be suited from Dubai to anywhere in the world! I hope those buildings in your photo will never be torn down and rebuilt....
