J'ai choisi, pour vous quitter (provisoirement, of course !), une photo que j'ai retravaillé après l'avoir déjà posté.

J'ai renforcé la noirceur pour obtenir un effet un peu gothique mais surtout ce côté intemporel
que Paris peut offrir dans certaines situations et sous certains angles. J'ai volontairement retiré antennes et satellites (Mon Dieu que c'est laid !), grues et immeubles modernes pour ne conserver que ce je pense être le Paris d'Antan (fin XiX, début XX)... des toits en zinc à perte de vue... un Paris noir et décrepit dans certains arrondissements, un Paris Village, un Paris Gouaille aux mille métiers et figures disparues, un Paris Bourgeois, un Paris Misère.
C'est bien tout ce Paris là que j'aime, qui me fait vibrer dans sa diversité et pour lequel j'ai une nostalgie sans l'avoir connu (je serais bien vieille !).

J'espère avoir réussi à vous faire partager ce sentiment grâce à ce travail.

Je pars pour Venise ! Cette magnifique ville va me recevoir et m'héberger jusqu'à mi-mai.
Bien sûr, je suis ravie de retrouver la Sérénissime pour son intemporalité et l'atmosphère toute différente qu'elle peut offrir.

Je serai de retour sur vos blogs à la mi-mai. A très bientôt.


I'll be away and in Venice for a couple of weeks.

To celebrate my trip, I'd like to offer you this picture of Paris, already posted and post-processed but in a very different manner. I wanted here to reinforce a dark beauty, which vanishes through the air. This image really evoks, as far as I'm concerned, an old Paris (end of the XIX, beginning of the XX century). Getting rid of modern architecture, cranes and antennas (so many, so ugly !), I guess it's now much similar to this old Paris I endlessly imagine.
