Très belle série, tu nous as fait la totale... ce côté penché nous fait croire que tu étais sur un ULM, et je trouve ça plutôt bien...
Tiens, maintenant je viens de lire le commentaire de Nicholas... je ne suis pas le seul donc... même si tu avais voulu nous le faire croire, on aurait eu du mal, survoler Paris = armée au fesses et garde à vue (au moins)... lol...

@Francesc B.: Oui tu as raison, il faut avoir une autorisation spéciale... et Monsieur Yann Artus-Bertarnd y arrive, lui ! :-) Ceci dit, j'adorerais pouvoir le faire. Quel bonheur cela doit être.

just a wonderful shot -- and i agree -- it looks like you are flying! ;) what a wonderful viewpoint! and have you used any desaturation? it looks like you have enhanced the water and trees -- and i love that! just magical! bravo!

@dj.tigersprout: No desaturation DJ... but I've used an HDR software. Lots of possibilities as far as hues, hints, colours and contrasts are concerned. And lot of fun too !

I love this series! I've never been to Paris and this just seems like a wonderful view of the city! I love the sharpness and detail of the shots too!

Ces contrstes et détails sont supers. Quel traitement pour garder le vert de la Seine et des arbres ?
Curieux que certains toits de tuiles brunes ouocres ressortent malgré le traitement.... Ca n'en reste pas moins super !

Le HDR permet bien des possibilités mais sur c'est surtout le "tone-mapping" qui optimise le travail sur les différentes couches, nettement plus subtiles que sur n'importe quel logiciel de retouche... on peut donc garder une tonicité sur certaines couleurs et baisser les contrastes et la sutration sur d'autres... c'est vraiment très intéressant et les possibilités sont vraiment infinies... merci pour ton com.

love the green leading line.. the tree-lined river must be an oasis in the concrete jungle - abeit a very pretty one.
really like the range of subjects in your portfolio, and the different processing - b&w/vibrant colours, experiementing with HDR and even a graphic designing looking one! triggers me into trying out B&W, looking abt your B&W ones

I hope that there will other occasion and I definitely regret not to be able to be among you next Saturday. I'm sure Paris will give you lots, lots of pleasure. You're coming on a special day because on saturday night every museum or national building have special art events. We call it Nuit Blanche... White Night which means thats all will be open very late... So you see, you'll have a lot of opportunities ! I'm already impatient to see all your pictures !

wow! well, aren't you showing off?!? what a gorgeous series. i think i like #2 the best, with the eiffel tower far off in the distance (btw, my mother just visited paris, and claimed she didn't like it (!); no accounting for taste, i guess...)
the post-processing on all four of these is breath-taking. great series, florence!
