Nicholas from Shah Alam, MalaysiaGreat shot this is. The selective desaturation worked perfectly. Wish I could join the meet-up. Anyone can sponsor me a ticket? :) 18 Sep 2008 5:37am Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandCool image!!! i really must learn how to do this selective desaturation thingy! I'm next on the list for a ticket to Paris....any offers?? 18 Sep 2008 5:53am @Linerberry: No desat on this one, the ground floor and the walls are naturally grey you see. I just made an HDR post-processing to add power to the red and to the contrasts. That's all. Kylie Greenan from Richmond, AustraliaYou are so creative my friend, this is so super cool, I love it and the selective colour is awesome... with your littlle "zOOm" in the image there, spectacular. Have an awesome time on the meet up, wish I was there! 18 Sep 2008 6:49am Seb! from Alès, FranceSuperbe compo au traitement adéquat. Sooo cool!!! 18 Sep 2008 11:05am willow from Chelsea, United StatesThe selective coloring is very effective here - it really draws and focuses the eye. 18 Sep 2008 1:11pm Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesI love the symmetry reflected here from the boards' lines. What an ideal location to have the meet-up. 18 Sep 2008 2:43pm LeenaM from Joensuu, FinlandHello! Mdrrr 18 Sep 2008 4:47pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomA very effective shot, nice simple monochromatic lines broken by the bright red object, very nice. 18 Sep 2008 5:57pm LAE from United StatesVery interesting, I thought you used desaturation till I read your post,(have to learn how to myself someday)anyway liked the "zoom" addition and added power to the red . What a neat place to have 1st official meeting, wish I could go ! 18 Sep 2008 6:44pm @LAE: Well, thanks for your kind comment. This place is not the place we're supposed to meet... in fact, here we're at the "Bibliothèque Nationale de France" (French National Library). The meeting place for the Aminus members in the Louvre, probably around the Pyramid. Thomas Griffioen from Rotterdam, NetherlandsVery good composition. I love the selective coloring. Interesting to read that you did this processing with HDR. 18 Sep 2008 7:20pm @Thomas Griffioen: Yes, you're right but there are so many ways for tone-mapping !
